Sarasota County has fine dining and amazing restaurants in bulk. But it’s not just great food that draws in crowds — enjoy unique nightlife and music experiences at local bars and restaurants.

Dinner might be over, but does that mean the night is? In Sarasota County, it certainly doesn’t have to be. While the raucous dance club scene might be a bit slim, there’s still plenty to enjoy and experience before winding down at the end of the night.

Stock up on healthy, seasonal produce, and shop like a local!

While visiting Sarasota County farmers markets this month, pick up some delicious, in-season beets to make this healthy salad at home OR check out one of many local restaurants with beets on the menu.

As kids, we may not have been fond of beets when they showed up on our dinner plates, but I’m sure as we’ve aged, many of us have gotten over our aversion to these ruby-colored wonders.

Those craving a spiced, slow-cooked delicacy and live music will find both in Sarasota County this March.

To make the most of your early spring trip to Sarasota County, you have got to get outside. Beyond leisurely strolls, and dips in the water, we have a weekend chock full of fabulous festivals to help you soak up the community culture as well as the warm sunshine. This year, March 29 and 30 features not one, but two big BBQ and music festivals.
