Storm Recovery
In the wake of the storms last fall, Sarasota County is committed to rebuilding and restoring our vibrant community. Recovery efforts are actively underway to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in the area. As safety remains the top priority, resources for locals can be found on the Sarasota County Government Facebook page or by calling Sarasota County Government at 941-861-5000. Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources has reactivated and are welcoming visitors back to:
- Siesta Beach
- Nokomis Beach
- North and South Brohard
- Maxine Barritt Park on Venice Island
- Venice Beach
- Lido Beach
- Manasota Beach Park
- Turtle Beach Park
- North Jetty Park
- Ted Sperling Park at South Lido Beach
Blind Pass Beach (Access to the park is by water or from the south through Charlotte County and the Tom Adams Bridge.)
