This winter, Sarasota will transform into a captivating realm of high-flying acrobatics and enchanting artistry with Wonderland, featuring Nik Wallenda (aka King of the Hire Wire) and Sarasota's own Circus Arts Conservatory.

Wonderland: Illuminate mesmerizes with everything from gravity-defying stunts, daring aerial performances and thrilling circus acts to booming showmanship, laugh-out-loud comedy and feel-good storytelling of holiday traditions celebrated from around the globe. 

At the heart of the show is Nik Wallenda, a high-wire legend and 11 Guinness World Record holder for various acrobatic feats. The acrobat, aerialist, daredevil, artist and author is best known for his risky high-wire performances without a safety net – including across Niagara Falls! 

Adding to the enchantment, the show will incorporate festive music, sparkling holiday decor and interactive elements that make it a must-see event for all ages. Whether you’re a circus enthusiast or looking for a unique holiday outing, Wonderland promises to deliver some joy this season.

This year, audiences will enjoy performances from fan favorites – including the comedic daredevil Johnny Rockett, electrifying Master of Ceremonies Ty McFarlan, and Sarasota’s own legendary Nik Wallenda alongside his fearless family on the high wire and sway poles. The all-new storyline will feature acts new to Sarasota, like the Royal Kenyan Acrobats from Nairobi, LionDanceME performing the Chinese Lion Dance, a trio performing on the Indian Pole (Mallakhamb), a majestic camel act presented by Colleen Pages Camels and more!

Catch this special annual event under the climate-controlled big top among the extravagant holiday light spectacle of the University Town Center (UTC). Shows will run from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, January 5, 2025.
