This enticing new exhibit, featuring the life work of two incredible classic car engineers and the legacy that followed thereafter, will be open daily from February 1st through May 1st, 2020, from 9 AM to 6 PM. It is included in the price of admission to the museum.

The History of Porsche and Ferrari
Both Ferdinand Porsche and Enzo Ferrari began their careers as respected automotive engineers. Porsche designed the Volkswagen Beetle, or as he called it, “The People’s Car,” and the Mercedes SSK. Ferrari shared his talents with the racing community under Alfa Romeo, an Italian luxury car manufacturer.

Both of these brilliant men were destined for more than simply working for someone else. After the end of the Second World War, both Porsche and Ferrari saw (and took) the opportunity to start their own lines of vehicles.

Both Ferrari and Porsche found great success from the start. Their vehicle lines changed the automotive industry for the better, through innovation, quality, and prestige.

Today, Porsche is part of the Volkswagen Audi group, which produces over 250,000 vehicles annually, from SUVs to sports cars. Ferrari creates and sells high-performance sports and racing cars, making under 10,000 prestige vehicles each year.
