15th Annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic

Each year, 24 talented sand sculptors from around the world converge on Siesta Beach to compete in the breathtaking Siesta Key Crystal Classic Sandsculpting Competition.

Over the course of four days, artists transform mountains of pristine Siesta Key sand into an extraordinary display of art. The competition includes:

A massive Group Carve
8 Solo Sculptures
8 Team Sculptures

Witness the creative process Thursday through Sunday, with sculptors working against the clock—8 hours per day Thursday to Saturday, and 4 final hours on Sunday. Then, on Sunday at 3 PM, don’t miss the Awards Ceremony at the Music Stage, where winners are revealed.

Special Festival Highlights

• Sculptures After Dark - On Saturday evening, stroll the festival and see the masterpieces illuminated with dramatic colored lights until 9 PM.
• The Learning Curve - Daily sand sculpting lessons and live demos Friday–Sunday. A must for aspiring sand artists of all ages.
• Quick Sand Contest - A fast-paced challenge of skill and speed—cheer on your favorites!
   
• Amateur Competition - Join the fun on Saturday—see what local talent can create!
• Live Music All Weekend - Enjoy 4 days of live bands under our huge music Tent.
   
• Vendor Village - Shop 75 retail vendors and enjoy 5 food vendors. Open to the public—no admission ticket required.
