Public Reception for Artists-in-Residence Nora Long and Anne Elhajoui

This summer, two dynamic artists, Anne Elhajoui and Nora Jane Long, will embark on a two-month residency, creating new work that intersects design, fine art, film, and a shared commitment to exploring deeper social themes.

Nora Jane Long is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, photographer, and multimedia artist whose work weaves together cinema, writing, and visual art into a fluid, interdisciplinary practice.

Award-winning designer Anne Elhajoui is best known as the art director for Dogs Inc in Palmetto, where, among other things, she designs the exciting in-house publication Up magazine.

Together, Anne and Nora will use this residency to further explore themes of justice, peace, memory, and the human impulse to connect. Whether through Anne’s vibrant investigations of letterforms and visual rhythm or Nora’s layered approach to story and image, their time together promises work that is as thought-provoking as it is beautifully crafted.
