Centennial Park Friday Night Concert Series

Dive into the lively beats of Historic Downtown Venice at the bi-monthly Friday Night Concert Series in Centennial Park! Hosted by Venice MainStreet, this year-round free event on the second and fourth Friday of each month (7 to 9 p.m.) invites everyone to bring their chairs or picnic blankets and welcomes local bands and artists to the stage.

Art Ovation Hotel

Feel the rhythmic magic at the Art Ovation Hotel in downtown Sarasota. Most nights (Wednesday to Saturday), performers entertain hotel guests and locals in the Gallery Lounge and on the Perspective rooftop bar. Listen to everything from dueling pianists to jazz trios while sipping on drinks and admiring the view, either of the lobby’s artwork or Sarasota Bay.

Sundays at The Bay Park

The signature park along Sarasota Bay spans 53 acres and hosts a variety of free programs and events, including lively Sunday evening music from 6 to 7 p.m. from the fall through the spring. Live Music at Wellen Park

Experience the rhythm of life at the newly constructed Wellen Park, where live music sets the stage for unforgettable moments that enhance the already delightful atmosphere of Downtown Wellen Park. The master-built community hosts mini concerts under the Heritage Tree daily from 6 to 9 p.m., except Sundays, when the music plays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The First Friday Concert is held each month from 6 to 9 p.m. at Solis Hall Stage. The Venice Symphony

Led by maestro Troy Quinn, this orchestra rolls out masterworks and modern classics at the Venice Performing Arts Center from October to April. Jazz Thursdays at Sarasota Art Museum

The second Thursday of each month, Sarasota Art Museum turns its courtyard into a jazz club in partnership with Jazz Club of Sarasota. Jazz Thursdays jam out between 5:30 and 8 p.m. You can also browse the museum’s galleries and purchase food and drink from the Bistro.

Sarasota Orchestra
