If visitors come on the right day, they may even catch an opening night or get the opportunity to meet the artist.
There are several sections of town where a congregation of galleries await art lovers. Towles Court Artist Studios is often called "Sarasota's Hidden Treasure." Nestled at the edge of downtown Sarasota is a unique treasure of artistic and culinary talents.
Burns Square is also a quaint street with local galleries and studios, while St. Armands Circle, a location celebrated for its abundance of quality dining and shopping options, puts a spotlight on the visual and performing arts every first Wednesday of the month.

Art Center Sarasota offers creative opportunities that are affordable and accessible to the entire community with approximately 27 exhibitions,100 classes and educational programs for youth and adults and special events each year. The Englewood Art Center and the Longboat Key Art Center are part of Ringling College Art+ Design offers classes and exhibitions throughout the year.
