Art Center Sarasota’s mission is to provide the community of Sarasota and its neighboring counties with affordable and accessible opportunities for creative expression and art appreciation through art education, exhibitions, and cultural programs.

Art Center Sarasota is a member-supported organization and environment where artistic excellence, creative spirit, and collaborative community engagement thrives - further enhancing the quality of life for all interested persons, regardless of age, color, gender expression, gender identity, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, financial means, level of ability or veteran status.

Art Center Sarasota's exhibitions program shows contemporary works in its three curated galleries, designed to inspire and challenge the viewer. Our large atrium gallery is dedicated to showcasing the region's talented artists in juried competitions. 

Art Center Sarasota's educational programs engage novice to professional artists with artist demonstrations, lectures, classes, workshops and classes. Art Center Sarasota hosts international and local teaching artists to enrich Sarasota's cultural diversity.
