Longboat Key celebrated the opening of its newest luxury beach resort, Zota Beach Resort, in the summer of 2017. Nestled on the beautiful beachfront of the Gulf of Mexico, Zota features stylish modern accommodations with an air of secluded island luxury.

The Westin

Following a great deal of anticipation in southwest Florida, The Westin opened its doors along the downtown Sarasota bayfront in the late summer of 2017.

The Carlisle Inn is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018 in the heart of Sarasota's Amish and Mennonite community, Pinecraft. The Sarasota Modern

Coming to downtown Sarasota's Rosemary District in spring of 2018, The Sarasota Modern, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a lifestyle boutique that celebrates the mid-century Sarasota Modern School of Architecture movement.

The 89-room boutique hotel at 599 Cocoanut Ave. is designed in the Sarasota Modernist tradition, with crisp architectural lines, lush tropical atmosphere, and design elements that prioritize natural sunlight. The hotel features a 150-seat, locally-sourced restaurant named after Sarasota Modern architect, Paul Rudolph, as well as art based on the work of influential Sarasota artist, Syd Solomon.
