Meeting Incentives

Program Eligibility

Please review the eligibility requirements before submitting your application for either incentive.

• Incentive application must be received and approved by Visit Sarasota County prior to hotel contract signing.
• Group must be a registered corporation or organization (W9 required).
• Organizations headquartered outside of Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties must not have held the conference/meeting in Sarasota County within the last 3 years.
• Valid only for Corporate, Association, Government, and Non-Profit, Military, Education, Religious and Fraternal groups.
• Personal lifetime gatherings such as Birthday Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Weddings, Anniversaries, Commemorations, Commencement Ceremonies, Funerals, Reunions, Baptisms, etc. are not eligible.
• Festivals, Carnivals, Street Fairs, Expos, Sporting Events and Golf Tournaments are not eligible.
• Room blocks must be booked at hotel(s) located in Sarasota County. A list ofthese hotels can be provided upon request.
• Applicant cannot receive any additional form of funding through Sarasota County Tourist Development Tax (TDT), such as grants from the Film Commission or the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County.

Two Types of Incentives

Our popular Meeting Incentive Program is for any business headquartered outside of Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties.  

For area businesses headquartered within Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties, the Bring It Home Incentive will apply.
