Taste The Rainbow the Whole Month of June

From June 1st to June 30th, those fun and fabulous enough to participate will experience the best of Sarasota and Venice's LGBTQ-friendly businesses and the foods/beverages they have to offer.

These local businesses will be offering a discount, pre-fix menu, or free item to celebrate pride month, with some adding rainbow items to the menu. Here are the places to go this June to get your rainbow-colored fixings and show your support for Pride Month!

Rainbow-Colored Bagel Sandwiches

Head to 99 Bottles Taproom & Bottleshop, where every weekend is a special New York Bagel Brunch menu on tap—including the coveted and popular rainbow-dyed bagels. For the month of June, 99 Bottles will be offering BOGO deals on the rainbow bagels. Try with a flavored cream cheese or add egg and bacon to make it a true breakfast sandwich. Best paired with a mimosa or glass of rose!

Rainbow Sprinkle Cookies & Ice Cream

Find great coffee and ice cream in an inspiring environment at Rise & Nye’s. From delicious lattes, cold brews and affogatos, to house-baked cookies and artisan ice cream flavors, enjoy a free rainbow sprinkled sugar cookie with any purchase here. And don’t forget to take a photo of you and your crew in front of their rainbow graffiti heart mural. 

Rainbow-Colored Margarita Flights

Circo is a spot for rare and/or interesting bourbons and mezcals, fun cocktails and classic margaritas. For Taste of Pride, Circo will be shaking things up with $4 rainbow-colored margaritas. As pretty in pink, purple, blue and green as they are, they’re just as refreshing on a hot June summer day in Sarasota!

Rainbow-Inspired Dessert Flight 

Head to The Ringling Grillroom inside The Ringling museum to have a unique meal in an unassuming atmosphere. The rich heritage, history and art of The Ringling can be found within the restaurant, and they didn’t disappoint by preparing a specialty dessert for those who dine in for Taste of Pride. The Grillroom is also offering 15% off any food purchase during the month of June (excluding alcohol). 

Rainbow Pasta with Tri-Color Sauces 

Down in Venice, dine out at Ristorante San Marco to experience and enjoy the authentic, flavor-filled cuisine of Southern Italy. And definitely don’t miss out on getting your pasta fix in a rainbow affair. San Marco’s rainbow menu item for the month of June includes homemade rainbow pasta with tri-color sauces to savor your pride. 

Rainbow-Colored Cocktail & Dessert Pairing

Located in a historic building of downtown Sarasota, find the fine-dining and culinary team of Sage SRQ. With an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed chef of the LGBTQ community, enjoy two free glasses of Chef’s Selection of wine with the purchase of two entrees at dinner. Additionally, Sage will be offering a rainbow-colored cocktail and dessert pairing to top off the evening with some sweetness to cheers to. 

Lemon-Flavored Rainbow Donut & Cold-Pressed Juice 

A local staple for juices and other healthful beverages and bites is CROP. During Taste of Pride, take advantage of a special coconut-based lemon donut dipped in fresh strawberry glaze with dye-free rainbow sprinkles. Iced Teas & 5-Piece Rainbow Set of French Macarons

Recently opened in downtown, check out Elevation Tea Company’s new storefront. Starting out at a tea truck at the Sarasota Farmers Market, Elevation opened its doors to offer more of its all-natural flavored and healthful iced and hot teas. Rainbow Sprinkle Cookie Shake
