The Sarasota Music Archive is holding it's much-anticipated 6th Annual Musical Flea Market on, Saturday February 15th, 2019 in the Selby Library Geldbart Auditorium from 10-2.

The archive cleans house every year by selling vinyl and popular records and musical items they can't or don't archive. Many of these are rare and valuable, but we already have them among the 711,000 item collection, so we must let them go.

Also included in its 6th annual 'Musical Flea Market' are antique instruments, violins, guitars, a saxophones, an 1890 Edison phonograph, some cool vintage audiophile equipment, PA equipment, computers and servers, posters and art, CD's, and more.

And, of course, the rare vinyl records. All at bargain prices. We are also accepting donations for the sale up to Friday the 14th evening.

Now in it's 40th year, and with over 711,000 items in it's collection, The Sarasota Music Archive is the region's largest musical collection. Many of it's materials will soon be available to borrow through the library, and all of the materials are available to view or listen to in the archive.

The flea market helps raise funds to maintain and expand the collections for this non-profit Sarasota institution.
