Beachside Concession Eats & Drinks

Stand-out bites and beverages at Sarasota County's public beach pavilions and concession stands.

Imagine enjoying a tasty snack or thirst-quenching drink while taking in the picture-perfect views on one of Sarasota's beaches. Does life get any better?! The great news is that you don't have to leave your beach time to grab some refreshments and all-American grub. You know, the kind that just hits the spot during a day of salt, sun and surf. Cheeseburger in paradise, anyone?

Several of Sarasota's popular beaches have public pavilions or window-serve concession stands where you can order what you want and enjoy it at nearby tables on their shaded, beachfront decks or back at your beach set-up area.

shark tooth concessions

Shark Tooth Beach Concessions takes its name (and logo) from the multitude of shark teeth that wash ashore on south Sarasota's shoreline and that attract visitors to the area beaches to find them. Those shark teeth have been part of our beaches for literally millions of years; the nearby town of Venice even has the moniker "Shark Tooth Capital of the World."

The menu itself features classic American favorites that'll feed the whole family, like:

  • Hot Dogs
  • Fish and Chips
  • Philly Cheesesteak
  • Chicken and Waffles
  • Beach Tacos
  • Nachos

The menu for both the Nokomis Beach and North Jetty Grille locations features some beverages that will help beat the heat on a hot sunny day. Enjoy draft/can beer, fountain sodas, mojitos, cold-brew coffee roasted by Black Gold Coffee of Venice or local cocktails, like "The Shark Bite" or "The Jetty Juice".
