But in Sarasota County on Florida's Gulf Coast, there are several options that will make both you and your little ones happy. See lions, tigers  and yes, even bears  at Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary, or check out smaller critters like flamingos, parrots and monkeys at Sarasota Jungle Gardens. For those with kids who want to run and play, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has a tropical rain forest just for that, and The Ringling, the state art museum of Florida, also has a play space on its beautiful 66-acre bayfront grounds.
