In the wake of the storms last fall, Sarasota County is committed to rebuilding and restoring our vibrant community. Area Recovery Information
Beaches and Parks Updates
The following Sarasota County beach parks currently have modified access or limited amenities. Please plan your visit accordingly:
- Blind Pass Beach - Access to the park is by water or from the south through Charlotte County and the Tom Adams Bridge. Restrooms are closed to public access but portalets are in place for public use.
- Caspersen Beach - Pedestrian and bicycle access only with parking available at South Brohard Park. No access to playground, utilities or restrooms.
