Benderson Chase

The 2025 Benderson Chase is a two-day fall rowing regatta and festival held annually at Nathan Benderson Park, in partnership with Sarasota Crew, Visit Sarasota, and the park itself. Formerly known as Head of the 941, the event is one of the largest rowing regattas in the region, attracting over 800 athletes and more than 1,500 spectators. After the cancellation of the 2024 event due to a hurricane, organizers are preparing for a strong return in 2025, bringing competitive energy and community celebration back to Sarasota’s world-class rowing venue.
