The MAGIC - This is a replica of a boat built on our site by Frank Guptill in 1901. Actually it was an older sailboat that he de-masted and installed what is probably the first engine in a power boat in Sarasota and the Webb's named her Magic. The Magic was destroyed in the hurricane of 1921. In 2006 volunteers rebuilt her based upon photos, and we take people out almost every day.
