Suncoast Curtain Call

The Resilience Incubator is proud to present the first‑ever Suncoast Curtain Call, a vibrant new community event uplifting local artistry while championing environmental resilience across the Suncoast. Held at the Sarasota Garden Club, this inaugural celebration brings local performers, non-profits, and community members together for an evening of creativity, connection, and purpose on Saturday, April 4.

Suncoast Curtain Call will feature a lively mix of musicians and performance artists from across the region, highlighting the depth and diversity of local talent. The afternoon - designed with families in mind - features a dynamic mix of musicians and performance artists. At 7:30 pm, performances shift to slightly more mature themes, and community karaoke begins at 8:00 pm, inviting eventgoers to take the stage for their moment in the spotlight. Attendees can savor offerings from local food trucks Simply Greek by Wynnberry and Dave’s Neapolitan Pizza, enjoy a cash bar, and experience a welcoming community gathering rooted in sustainability and shared imagination. General admission is $10 per ticket.

Adding to the excitement, the event will be emceed by Jasmin Graham, a local musical theatre artist, nationally recognized marine biologist, award‑winning science communicator, and co‑founder of Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS). Known for her groundbreaking work in shark and ray ecology and her leadership in advancing equity in STEM, Graham brings a dynamic presence and a passion for community engagement that perfectly complements the event’s focus on creativity, conservation, and collective action.
