The Sovereign Christmas Story: An Immersion in the Holy Spirit

“The Sovereign Christmas Story: An Immersion in the Holy Spirit”
This December, the historic Crocker Church will open its doors for an immersive,
two-hour Christmas experience unlike anything the region has hosted before. The Sovereign Christmas
Story blends elements of a one-woman theatrical performance with elevated, mystical story-telling, a
mesmerizing soundscape of bowls and other sacred instruments, with contemplative movement that
guides guests through a living journey of deliverance.
Created and led by Elizabeth A. Wilson, author of The Sovereign Way, the evening re-imagines the
Christmas story through the consciousness of the Wise Kings. With Elizabeth’s immersive narration,
ambient musician and certified music therapist Zooey Seraphine on instruments, and aloha yogi PJ
Dietrich guiding gentle body movements between acts, the three leading artists guide the audience as a
host of sovereign mystics who travel far to become present to Christ.
“We often miss that the Christmas story is more than a theological symbol behind a busy season,”
Elizabeth says. “It’s a real experience to inhabit. This is the story of God entering the world in
vulnerability and power. With this immersive and archetypal evening we are honoring this Christ event
while inviting people to experience their own new birth.”
A Three-Act Spiritual Journey
Act I: The Call and the Refusal
Guests are drawn into the primordial beginning — the memory of what we’re really made of and how
reality forms. Through story, spoken word, and movement, the first act summons the ancient call to rise
and brings us to the edge of the desert, a pivotal moment of choice.
Act II: The Descent and Immersion
A full sound-bath immersion, held by Zooey Seraphine, creates a meditative inner landscape where
guests experience release, wilderness, and the spiritual masteries that cultivate sovereignty.
Act III: The Rise and the Answer
The journey culminates at the manger — new presence, illumination, and the return of innocence, with
a human consciousness that is free, equipped and sovereign.
Each guest will receive a meaningful gift upon arrival, and the entire evening is crafted to feel intimate,
safe, and deeply peaceful. There will be refreshments and a chance to meet with the artists after the
production.
For Those Seeking Depth, Beauty, and Renewal This Season
The Sovereign Christmas Story is designed for those who long for meaningful spiritual experiences that
awaken peace rather than just talk about it. Whether or not they attend church, guests will find the
atmosphere reverent, inclusive, and contemplative.
“This is a swim in the holy waters where art and worship meet,” Elizabeth says. “My hope is that people
leave with a refreshed sense of hope, the embodied sense of being equipped, and the quiet freedom to
live The Sovereign Way.”
