Siesta 7s Inaugural Beach Rugby Tournament

The Siesta 7s Inaugural Beach Rugby Tournament comes to Siesta Key Beach for a full day of competition, community, and coastal energy.

Hosted by Sarasota Rugby Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing the sport of rugby and supporting youth and community programs, this event features men’s, women’s, and youth divisions competing in fast-paced rugby on the sand. Teams from across Florida and beyond will take part in a high-energy tournament set on one of the top-rated beaches in the country.

Spectators are welcome to enjoy the action along with local vendors, food, music, and a lively beach atmosphere throughout the day. The tournament is free to attend and open to the public.

The weekend kicks off with a free Friday welcome party at Daiquiri Deck on the South Bridge starting at 6 PM, featuring live music and a great opportunity for teams, fans, and the community to connect before tournament day.

Tournament play begins Saturday morning and continues into the afternoon, followed by post-event celebrations in Siesta Key Village.
