Sarasota Pineapple Drop Carnival

Enjoy a two-day carnival with midway rides, games and fair food for the whole family, part of the annual Pineapple Drop Block Party on Dec. 31 featuring live music and DJs, a New Year's countdown and fireworks.

Event admission is free. Visit the website for advance savings on unlimited ride wristbands ($29 each, 2/$55 or 4/$99) and ride tickets. Midway hours are 1-11 pm Tuesday and 1 pm - 1 am Wednesday. Carnival guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21+.

The New Year's Eve block party, hosted by the Sarasota Downtown Merchants from 1 pm - 1 am, features entertainment on three stages including Naughty Girl, Chas Collins, Gas House Gorillas and SRQ Beats, and plenty of food and beverage options.
