Welcome spring with a sunny program! The bright sides of Mozart and Beethoven inspired Dohnányi’s Serenade, while Jongen’s trios for flute, cello, and harp reveal the influence of Debussy and Ravel. Mozart was so pleased with his Quintet for Piano and Winds, he dubbed it “the best thing I have written in my life."
