Monday Night Jazz presents: Alejandro Arenas: Deep Roots - Bass and Latin voices

Alejandro Arenas received this year's Al Downing Jazz Association Jazz Musician of the Year award. A well deserved honor for one of the Bay area's all around musicians; writer, arranger, producer, educator, and contributor to all. Arenas is a member of La Lucha and the newly formed group Arenas, Lasky and Nash and performs with many others throughout the Bay area. On Monday, August 24 at Monday Night Jazz, he presents his show Deep Roots: Bass and Latin Voices. Doors open 6:30 pm for food & beverages, showtime 7:30 pm.
