Englewood Beach Waterfest

The annual Englewood Beach Waterfest returns to Englewood Beach, October 9-11, 2026, for three days of high-speed racing and community festivities highlighted by the American Powerboat Association (APBA) National Championship Finals and the official 13th annual APBA Offshore National Championship finale. Hosted by Englewood Beach Waterfest, Inc., the festival will feature offshore powerboat racing along Englewood Beach, a boat parade and free community block party throughout Historic Dearborn Street and Pioneer Plaza, along with activities at Englewood Sports Complex. More than 13,000 fans are expected to experience the action throughout the weekend, with approximately 350 competitors taking to the water and national livestream coverage extending the championship’s reach beyond Englewood Beach. Proceeds and fundraising efforts from the event will support Englewood Beach Waterfest’s ongoing community programs and its mission to promote responsible recreation, marine conservation and appreciation of Englewood’s unique waterways through sporting events, competitions and educational initiatives.
