Combined driving is a thrilling equestrian sport similar to eventing, but instead of riding, horses are driven while pulling carriages through three distinct phases. Like a triathlon, horse-and-driver combinations compete in driven dressage, followed by the marathon phase—a cross-country obstacle course featuring water crossings and challenging terrain—and finish with cones, a timed test of precision and skill. It’s a unique opportunity to see the power, teamwork, and athleticism of horses up close.
