Bowls of Hope

All Faiths Food Bank is thrilled to announce another edition of one of its most popular – and one of the area’s best-attended – events: Bowls of Hope. This family-friendly event supports All Faiths Food Bank’s work, benefiting our neighbors who are experiencing hunger. Each year, Bowls of Hope attendees select offerings from dozens of the community’s finest restaurants and caterers as they serve delicious soups, bread, desserts, and more. Guests choose from beautiful, handcrafted bowls – all donated by local potters, artists, and students – to keep, while enjoying a modest meal as a reminder of the empty bowls they help to fill. This year's event is chaired by Susan Holik. Bowls of Hope takes place Sunday, November 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium (2700 12th St., Sarasota). Tickets go on sale on October 1 - general admission tickets are $35, children 12 and under are $10; field-side reserved seating is $150 (with entry beginning at 10:30 a.m.) Sponsorship tickets, which range from $500-$10,000, entitle sponsors to early entry for the Bubbles, Beignets & Bowls Reception, which begins at 10 a.m. Sponsorships are available now: visit allfaithsfoodbank.org and click on "Special Events."
