February 04, 2026 See All DatesSarasota Art Museum is proud to host its February Bistro Pop-Up Night on Wednesday, February 4, offering an evening that pairs contemporary art with seasonal cuisine. The event begins with an optional after-hours gallery tour at 5:30 p.m., themed to the exhibition Janet Echelman: Radical Softness.
The exhibition offers an intimate look at the work of internationally recognized artist Janet Echelman, whose monumental netted sculptures draw on traditional knotting techniques and modern technology to explore nature, movement and human connection.
Dinner follows at 6:30 p.m. with a four-course bistro-style menu curated by Executive Chef Peyton Leffingwell of Constellation Culinary Group. The February menu, inspired by the exhibition, begins with an enoki mushroom bouquet, followed by a shrimp trellis salad with Peruvian peppers and barrel aged balsamic. The entrée features crusted yellow-fin tuna steak over a persimmon net, topped with Seville orange and pineapple cruda, and the meal concludes with a chocolate crunch bar decadent with seasonal berries and delicate chocolate lace. A vegetarian alternative is available upon request.
The four-course dinner is priced at $100 per person, or $130 per person with wine pairing. Prices exclude tax and gratuity, with payment processed on-site following dinner. Advance reservations are required and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited, with tables reserved for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
