Big Band Jazz with the Sarasota Jazz Project

The opening concert for the 2026-27 Jazz at Two features big band jazz with the Sarasota Jazz Project. Enjoy the swinging music from one of the finest big bands on Florida's West coast. The Sarasota Jazz Project is directed by co-founder, George McLain. Comprised of some of the best musicians on the Gulf Coast, the seventeen piece band plays the music of the great big bands of the past as well as original compositions and arrangements. The Project Band features music from the American Songbook and some classic jazz standards. Admission is at the door, $15 for members and $20 for guests.
