2026 Chinese New Year Celebration

Get ready for one of our most vibrant cultural celebrations of the year! The Sister Cities Association of Sarasota, together with our partners at University Town Center (UTC), is thrilled to invite you to the 2026 Chinese New Year Celebration—an evening filled with color, tradition, and community spirit.

Time: 7:00 – 9:00 PM
Location: The Green at UTC (125 N Cattlemen Rd.)

This year’s program will showcase 90 minutes of traditional Chinese music, dance, opera, and martial arts, beginning with an exciting lion dance. Before the show and during the mid‑event break, guests can enjoy cultural activities, visit vendor tables, and stop by the SCAS booth for free greeting cards.
