Chef Andrea Bozzolo

Chef Andrea Bozzolo moved to Sarasota in 2003 after visiting the area during a holiday. He fell in love with the beaches, the area, and the energy of the community. Opening his own Sarasota restaurant in 2009, Chef Andrea wanted a restaurant with an intimate setting to give his diners the special attention of European restaurants, and to prepare all dishes made to order. Having a meal at Andrea’s is like having your own personal wine dinner, with the staff and Chef offering courses and wines paired perfectly. His focus is providing his customers with the highest quality ingredients, always. Andrea is always seeking out local produce, wild caught fish. He prides himself on offering a sustainable menu throughout the year. Serving homemade breads and pastas using the highest quality from a little mill in Napoli, Italy

His passion for food began with his grandparents, from his youth, he knew he wanted to become a chef, and Andrea began his training in 1985 at the Scuola di Stresa, L"Erminio Maggia" then worked his way up to the title Executive Chef for Princess Cruise Lines. He has cooked his way around the globe including Italy, France, England, Australia, Hong Kong and the United States. One of his greatest career opportunities was working under Chef Gualtiero Marchesi. Chef Marchesi ignited Chef Andrea’s fire and drive to create memorable dishes for his guests.
