Chef Andrea Bozzolo

From Sun-Kissed Piedmont to Sarasota: Chef Andrea Bozzolo

Hailing from the charming Italian town of Pallanza, Chef Andrea Bozzolo's journey began amidst rolling hills and sun-drenched vineyards. His grandparents' farm became his playground, where fresh ingredients went from the vine to the table, fostering a love for quality and flavor that would define Chef Andrea.

By fifteen, Andrea knew his destiny lay in the kitchen. He honed his passion at Europe's renowned hotel school in Stresa, his days filled with study and his nights spent working in local restaurants, soaking up the vibrant energy of the culinary world.

After graduating, Chef Andrea set sail with Princess Cruises, traversing the globe, and collecting a tapestry of culinary influences. But it was the magnetic charm of Sarasota that captured his heart. In 2003, he moved to Sarasota and in 2009 finally opened Andrea’s on Siesta Drive.

Today, Chef Andrea's mission is simple: to bring the essence of Italy to your plate. He sources the finest local produce, wild-caught fish, and sustainable ingredients, ensuring each dish is a symphony of freshness and flavor. Homemade pastas and breads, crafted with high-quality flour from a small Napoli mill, adds a touch of artisanal magic. And to complete the experience, Andrea offers an extensive selection of wines and cheeses, transporting you to the heart of Italy.
