Visit Sarasota County is proud to share that Siesta Key, one of Sarasota County’s most iconic beach destinations, has been named the No. 1 Best Beach in the U.S. in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Vacations rankings.

The recognition underscores Siesta Key’s enduring appeal for travelers drawn to powdery white sand, clear Gulf waters and a beach experience that balances natural beauty with a relaxed coastal atmosphere.
