Ringling College of Art and Design

2700 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota, FL 34234-5895 (941) 351-5100

Ringling College of Art and Design was established in 1931 in Sarasota, Florida's already burgeoning art community. The College has about 1700 undergraduate students, offers 13 degree programs, and is the only institution in Florida dedicated exclusively to teaching art and design. Many of our programs are ranked among the best in the nation and the world, including Computer Animation, Motion Design, and Game Art. The College prepares students to become global citizens and ethical practitioners while cultivating highly competitive technical knowledge. We believe in the transformative power of art and design in shaping inclusive spaces, communities, and mindsets.

Sarasota Art Museum is Ringling College of Art and Design’s dynamic laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. As the only Sarasota museum solely focused on contemporary artists and their work, Sarasota Art Museum offers visitors a place to see thought-provoking exhibitions and participate in education programs that start conversations and amplify the city’s creative spirit.

Ringling College’s Galleries and Exhibitions offer on-campus exhibitions and activities that celebrate the work and production of students, faculty, alumni, and visiting artists in our seven on-campus galleries. With rotating programming, you will always find an exciting new exhibition, artist talk, lecture, or event to attend.

Additional events and programming can also be discovered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI), Ringling College’s TOWN HALL Lecture Series, and the Englewood Art Center. Youth and teen programs are offered through the College’s PreCollege program and Teen Concentrations
