When We See You Again, A Conversation with Rachel Goldberg-Polin & Jon Polin

Sarasota will have a unique opportunity to bear witness to a searing portrait of parents’ grief in the wake of unthinkable tragedy.

On November 17, 2026, at 6:30 pm at The Ora, Rachel Goldberg-Polin and Jon Polin will share When We See You Again, a powerful story of remembrance, perseverance, suffering, and love after the October 7th Hamas kidnapping of their son, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, and his murder 328 days later in Gaza.

The free event is presented by TheSIXSRQ, a project-based committee which brought former Israeli hostage Omer Shem Tov to Sarasota last year, and the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee. This event is also generously supported by a coalition of interfaith and community partners, with the hope of amplifying Rachel’s message, encouraging meaningful dialogue, and demonstrating the unity and strength of our Sarasota community.
