2027 Sarasota College Softball Classic

The inaugural 2027 Sarasota College Softball Classic will take place February 11-14, 2027, at the new 17th Street Regional Park, marking the first major event hosted at the facility. Organized by Peak Events, LLC, the four-day tournament will feature six premier collegiate softball programs — Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, James Madison, Ohio State and Texas State — competing in 15 games on the park’s championship field. Approximately 200 participants and more than 10,000 fans and spectators are expected throughout the weekend. The event will also provide significant exposure for Sarasota County, with a minimum of 10 games broadcast internationally on the All Women’s Sports Network, available through platforms including Amazon Prime and PlutoTV. With nationally recognized programs, extensive broadcast exposure and four days of high-level competition, the Sarasota College Softball Classic will provide a marquee opening chapter for 17th Street Regional Park.
