Cellist Sam Kahre

Based in Sarasota and serving Sarasota County, Tampa Bay and Florida’s Gulf Coast, Cellist Sam Kahre does more than perform, he intentionally shapes how an atmosphere feels. Blending expressive cello, modern live looping, and cinematic arrangements, Sam creates music that can feel elegant, joyful, intimate, reflective or deeply moving. Rooted in faith, his warm and genuine approach is guided by a sincere desire to connect, whether a moment calls for celebration, wonder, reflection or peace. Alongside fresh interpretations of familiar songs, Sam writes original music and continues developing a distinctive sound that reaches beyond traditional expectations of the cello. Drawing on two decades of professional experience, Sam approaches each setting with artistic intention and an instinct for what the moment needs. His work is equally at home in corporate gatherings, galas, hotels and resorts, private dinners, cultural events, worship services, weddings and other meaningful occasions.
