Chef Jacob graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Academy of Culinary Arts. He finished his externship in Ocean City, Maryland at Reflections Restaurant and Hotel. He later accepted a position as Banquet Chef at Hidden Valley Four Season Ski Resort in Pennsylvania. As the days grew shorter and the snow feel heavily, he decided to move to sunny Sarasota, Florida where he has been successfully leading his team and restaurants to greatness for 20 years. After successful stints at Hyde Park Steakhouse, Freds in Lakewood Ranch, Morton's Catering and Longboat Key Club Chef Jacob joined Excellence in Restaurants in 2018 taking the reigns at Bridge Street Bistro in Bradenton Beach. When we built B&B Chophouse in 2020 Chef Jacob was the natural choice to assist and has been our only executive chef since it opened in September of that year.
