
About the Chef
Cole McBride, originally from Atlanta, has lived in the Tampa Bay Area since 2001. He developed a love of cooking from a young age, spending hours in the kitchen with his grandmother. He has been with The Fat Rabbit Pub since its opening in 2017, and has worked closely with the owners to develop an award winning menu. Along with The Fat Rabbit he has won numerous awards including Best Burger and Best Wings in Tampa Bay, and works closely with several local charity organizations. Cole lives in Wesley Chapel with his wife and 2 sons.
Chef's Favorite Menu Item
Cole's favorite item on the menu is the Irishman burger. It consists of our blend of short rib & brisket for the patty, his own proprietary blend of seasonings, Arugula, Tomato, Caramelized Onions, & Swiss, as well as homemade Jameson whiskey Bacon Jam & Bourbon Aioli. The highlight of this menu item was when Cole took this exact burger to a national burger competition where his Irishman won 2nd place. Additionally the Bacon Jam won 1st place in its category nationwide as well, making this one award winning menu item!
