Kirk Park

Kirk Park is one of ten neighborhood parks within the City of North Port parks system. Although a portion of the Kirk Park property was dedicated to the City of North Port Charlotte in 1966, the deeds for the entire site were presented by General Development Corporation to the City of North Port at a Commission workshop in June of 1976. The .52 acre park includes green space with Live Oak, American Elm, Eucalyptus and Phoenix Reclinata, also known as wild date palm. Amenities include picnic tables, benches, grill and a small pavilion that accommodates up to 25 people. The pavilion is available for rental through the Parks and Recreation Division. There is also a playground, basketball court (not lighted) and sand volleyball court (not lighted) on site.

Kirk Park is located at 8305 Trionfo Avenue. From Sumter Blvd. & 41, head west on 41 to S. Biscayne and turn right. Follow to Trionfo and turn left.
