Frequently Asked Questions
When are the best times of year to run outdoors in Sarasota?

Is there a weekly run club in Sarasota that's open to all skill levels?
Yes — the 99 Bottles Run Club meets every Wednesday evening in downtown Sarasota and welcomes runners, joggers and walkers of every pace. No registration is required, and the route wraps up back at 99 Bottles for a post-run hangout.
Do I need to register in advance for Sarasota's annual races?
Most annual races, like the Ringling Bridge Run and the Wellen Park Half Marathon & 5K, require advance registration through the event's official race page, with pricing that typically increases closer to race day.
