Visit Sarasota County Promotes Within and Adds to Sales Team

SARASOTA, Fla. (September 7, 2021) – Visit Sarasota County is excited to welcome Lani DeJesus to the team as Sales and Marketing Coordinator, and congratulating Carolyn Perry on her recent promotion to Industry Development Manager.

Lani moved to Florida from Overland Park, Kansas around five years ago, and currently resides in Northern Sarasota. She recently graduated from State College of Florida in 2020 with an Associate’s Degree in Business and Marketing Administration. Lani has had the privilege to work side by side with individuals in the finance, restaurant, health and fitness, and real estate industries within the Sarasota area, and is beyond thrilled for this new opportunity.

In her spare time, Lani enjoys going to the gym, watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football, and chasing around her two nieces, Riley and Taylor.

Carolyn Perry was the former Sales Coordinator at VSC but was recently promoted to Industry Development Manager early this summer. Carolyn will be overseeing the partnership program and ensuring that you are getting the most from your VSC partnership through networking opportunities, educational opportunities and making the most of marketing your business to visitors.

In her time of leisure, Carolyn enjoys healthy cooking, reading and restoring furniture to turn it into something of her own creation.
