Chef Blosmer Leon

Blosmer Leon, owner and executive chef at Bohemios Wine and Beer Tapas Bar, was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Leon's career started in Venezuela over 35 years ago with the completion of a Bachelor in Business Administration and specialization in Accounting. Leon moved to the United States 20 years ago. Since that time, Leon has worked for a variety of restaurants in Sarasota, Florida, including, Laurel Oaks Country Club, Fred's Restaurant, Cafe L'Europe, amongst others. The career shift from business administration to the food industry, allowed him to discover a dream he never imagined he would have becoming a chef and a restaurant owner. In december 2018, he fulfilled this dream by opening Bohemios Wine and Beer Tapas Bar and becoming the executive chef of his own restaurant. This restaurant is the result of many years of hard work and dedication to the food industry. It's also Leon's commitment to his business roots and Venezuelan culture.
