“Savor Sarasota is a fabulous way to showcase the legions of amazing restaurants throughout our community,” said Virginia Haley, Visit Sarasota County President. “The menus are as diverse as the range of restaurants. We have something for every palate, from vegan and vegetarian to BBQ and gastropubs; modern to traditional, as well as a cornucopia of international cuisines and fine dining establishments. Sarasota has become a culinary destination and Savor Sarasota gives residents and visitors the chance to discover or rediscover these amazing restaurants.”
Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week is sponsored by Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and Sarasota Magazine.
Visit Sarasota County created Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week in 2006 with the goal to help area restaurants thrive during what was formerly considered off-season by encouraging visitors and locals to discover the culinary treasures in Sarasota. The inaugural year of SSRW saw 25 locally owned restaurants engage, and over the past 16 years, restaurant participation continues to evolve and grow.
