Sarasota Audubon Society (SAS): Oscar Scherer State Park Walks.

Starts NOVEMBER 18 @ 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and recurs on the 3rd & 4th Thursdays of each month, until April 7, 2022.
Walks are led by Sarasota Audubon Society expert birder Peter Brown (508-241-5541). Search for Florida Scrub-Jays, Bald Eagles, Eastern Towhees,
Brown Thrashers, and many other species. Meet at 8:30 am inside the park at the Lake Osprey Nature Center (State Park fee collected at park entrance).
NO RESERVATIONS NECESSARY. Suggested SAS donation: $2 members, $4 non-members. MASKS OPTIONAL.

Note: Venice Audubon Society conducts similar walks on the 1st, 2nd and 5th Thursdays of each month , Beginning November 1 and continuing until April 7, 2022. Contact Venice Audubon or visit their website for additional details
