SARASOTA, Fla. (August 3, 2017) – Visit Sarasota County welcomes Erin Hurter as the Visitor Experience Manager. Hurter will oversee VSC’s Visitor Services programming and volunteers.

Hurter joins VSC from the United Tennis Club & Academy in Bradenton where she was the General Manager. Erin knows Sarasota County as well as anyone. Erin was raised in Venice and Englewood, graduated from Cardinal Mooney, and now lives near downtown Sarasota.

Along the way Erin’s lived all over Florida, from the Palm Beaches to the Florida Keys.

"I love Sarasota, I raised my family here and there's no place else I'd rather be. I'm looking forward to joining such a successful team at Visit Sarasota County and to help show off this area to as many people as possible!" she said.

Erin's nonprofit experience includes Guild Chairman for All Children's Hospital where she helped raise $900,000 and interacted with hundreds of volunteers. She's also been active with other charities--from Ronald McDonald House to Special Olympics.

In her free time, Erin loves pursuing an active lifestyle--playing tennis, bike riding and she admits being a "foodie" with her TV often set to the Food Channel.
