This monthly session brings in new speakers to discuss Sarasota-centric topics in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and drink Discover everything you never knew about World’s Fairs and how they have influenced everything you know. Explore the surprising connections between World’s Fairs, Florida, and Sarasota in this 45 minute session in our dining room. Admission to the event is $6 plus a 2 item minimum. Wine specials will be available and valet is complimentary. Seating begins at 5:30pm, presentation will begin at 5:50pm. This presentation is made by David Berry, the Associate Director of Academic Affairs and Special Projects at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. He teaches at Florida State University and New College of Florida. He also consults at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. This event is in conjunction with Wine Walk: World's Fair at The Ringling. This year, The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is celebrating the history of the World's Fair at their annual fundraiser for the Ca' d'Zan on March 29th.
