The Gender Studies Program at New College of Florida will host Oscar-nominated Director Bing Liu for a screening and discussion of his film, Minding the Gap, on Friday, April 19, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the Mildred Sainer Auditorium. The film follows three young men for over a decade, addressing issues of masculinity, race, class, family, and the transition to adulthood. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session hosted by Bradley Battersby, head of the film department at the Ringing College of Art + Design.
