Sarasota County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources, Kiwanis Club of Siesta Key, New Balance of Sarasota and Sarasota Crew are presenting the popular Kids Summer Beach Runs this summer. A free 1-mile fun run, for the whole family. Kids Summer Beach Runs will be held at two locations Siesta Beach, 948 Beach Road on Siesta Key, Tuesdays, June 4 – July 30 (no run on July 2) and at Brohard Beach on Wednesdays, June 5 – July 31 (no run on July 3). 5:30 p.m. registration and 6:30 p.m. start time. Registration is required. Finisher ribbons are provided each week, and you can earn a t-shirt after 4 runs. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. near the playground at Siesta Beach and near the Venice Fishing Pier at Brohard Beach. Races start 6:30 p.m. for both locations.
