Veterans Day Block Party

FREE celebration of Sarasota’s military nonprofits over Veterans Day weekend, November 9th at CitySide Apartments in the historic Rosemary District.

The celebration will take place along May Lane, kicking off at 4:00 with a Street Yoga Party hosted by The Dharma Footprint Project and closing around 9:00 with performances by Dan Johnson Music, Ari and the Alibis, Kara & Kaleidogroove and Enrique Simone Casados.

Great food and beverages provided by Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Tsunami Sushi, Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, including other local delights and cocktails. There will be a raffle and door prizes throughout the evening featuring live painting by Audrey Jennifer Art, along with unique presenters including a special appearance by Jerry Springer and other celebrity ambassadors.

The “Veterans Block Party” on November 9th will be highlighting all the amazing work, activism and results being produced by the incredible military nonprofits community throughout Sarasota and beyond Operation Warrior Resolution, SRQ VETS, Vets 2 Success and Operation Hemingway. Each one of these organizations providing military veterans and their families a wide variety of essential resources, networking help and familiar camaraderie in their time of need, emergency or otherwise.
