Sun Fiesta 2018

Women’s Sertoma of Venice is producing SUN FIESTA for the 45th year. This year the club is holding the event in a different venue. Construction on the island has rendered Centennial Park unavailable. SUN FIESTA will be held at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds, 610 Airport Rd.

Save these dates, because Oct. 19-21, 2018 is your week-end to remember. Friday thours are 5 to 10 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 10 PM and Sunday 7:30 AM to 7 PM.
 Elevate your mood. Come to the SUN FIESTA event, the “Jewel of Venice." Offering entertainment for everyone and running 3 non-stop days.

Brand new this year - a 5K Race at 7:30 AM Sunday morning,  with prizes. A tradition, the pancake breakfast will follow. Also new this year, the Dunk Tank with local dignitaries sitting on the throne to taunt the participants, all in “clean” fun.

A Miss Sun Fiesta Pageant with prizes will take place on Saturday. Girls 17 and older may join in the contest. Live entertainment throughout the three days will be performing on stage The Arts and Crafts alley will be showing off their wares, one-of-a kind art work, jewelry, unique clothing, food demos with items to purchase and information booths.

Kids Korner will have a Bounce House, contests, supervised art projects with hands-on participation, and games of chance for the small fry too.
The hysterical Bed Races will take place with prizes for the winners. Fun to watch as you cheer the teams to victory.

The Food Court will present many delicious choices for snacks, lunch or dinner.  This year there will be 2 Beer tents with seating. Don't miss the Raffles, silent auction and T-Shirts sales happening at SUN FIESTA.

All the proceeds will be gifted to scholarships and local charities.
